About The Position

Takt builds warehouse intelligence software for large warehouse, distribution, and logistics organizations. The company's software integrates labor, automation, and robotics data to provide real-time operational visibility. Takt is expanding internationally and seeking a Marketing Manager to enhance its market presence and communicate its value proposition to supply chain leaders. This role involves planning and executing various marketing programs, including campaigns, events, social media, content creation, and brand management. The position requires a hands-on approach, ownership of program results, and the ability to work collaboratively with Sales, Product, and the founding team. The Marketing Manager will report to the acting Chief Revenue Officer.

Requirements

  • Real ownership mentality: treating program results as one's own, following through without reminders, and proactively building plans.
  • Typically 4–7 years in B2B marketing, ideally at a SaaS or technology company.
  • A track record of planning and executing campaigns that produced measurable pipeline and revenue.
  • Hands-on experience running events and trade shows, from planning and budget through follow-up.
  • Strong writing skills and an instinct for creating engaging content, especially for LinkedIn.
  • Experience with HubSpot or a comparable marketing automation platform.
  • Comfort with data analysis for campaign performance.
  • Ability to move easily between strategic and tactical work.
  • Comfort working in an environment where some processes are established and others need to be invented.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience marketing to supply chain, logistics, warehouse, manufacturing, or operations audiences.
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, or at a 3PL.
  • Experience at an early-stage or growth-stage company with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Familiarity with the supply chain event circuit (e.g., MODEX/ProMat, Manifest, CSCMP, WERC).
  • Experience with design and video tools (Canva, Figma, Adobe, or similar).
  • Experience using AI tools like Claude in daily work.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, launch, and run integrated campaigns (email, paid, social, content, and outbound support) targeting operations, supply chain, and warehouse leaders.
  • Manage paid search and SEO with tools and partners, optimizing for performance.
  • Partner with Sales to align campaigns with target accounts, pipeline goals, and outbound strategies.
  • Execute campaigns in HubSpot and Loops, including segmentation, nurture sequences, landing pages, and reporting.
  • Track campaign performance from first touch to pipeline and report monthly on spend and marketing contributions.
  • Own Takt's event calendar, selecting industry trade shows, conferences, webinars, and customer/prospect events.
  • Manage event logistics, including budgets, booths, collateral, staffing, meeting scheduling, and post-event follow-up.
  • Ensure every event is tied to measurable outcomes like meetings booked, pipeline created, and relationships strengthened.
  • Own Takt's social media presence, prioritizing LinkedIn, including content calendar, publishing via Buffer, and engagement.
  • Assist leadership and team members in building their social media presence.
  • Maintain consistency in Takt's messaging, visual identity, and tone across all channels.
  • Create and manage content for warehouse and logistics leaders, such as blog posts, case studies, one-pagers, videos, and product launch materials.
  • Collaborate with customers to develop case studies and references.
  • Work with the Product team to translate new capabilities into clear messaging.
  • Support marketing efforts for international launches in EMEA and APAC.
