About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Marketing Manager to support the continued growth of Elmington Construction and its affiliated businesses. This role will lead and coordinate a broad range of marketing initiatives, including internal communications, employee engagement, learning and development initiatives, recruiting efforts, social media and digital content, company events, and business development pursuits. This individual will partner across the organization to create compelling content and communications that engage employees, support business objectives, and strengthen the Elmington brand. The Marketing Manager will partner closely with the Shared Services Creative team, Operations, Talent Acquisition, Business Development, and project teams to develop marketing materials, communications, and initiatives that showcase Elmington Construction’s capabilities, culture, and value proposition.

Requirements

  • Strong written, verbal, and facilitation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and Canva
  • Strong technical writing, editing, and content development capabilities
  • Ability to develop compelling narratives and visual content that communicate complex construction concepts clearly
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities and deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years in the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (A/E/C) industry, including proposal development and technical writing

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary marketing project manager for Elmington Construction and its affiliated businesses, overseeing the execution of all marketing and creative initiatives from concept through completion.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and initiatives that support company growth objectives, strategic priorities, and expansion into new markets and service offerings.
  • Translate business goals, project experience, operational capabilities, and company culture into compelling marketing materials and communications.
  • Maintain and evolve brand standards across all marketing materials, ensuring consistency in messaging, visual identity, and company positioning.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance market presence, strengthen client relationships, and promote Elmington Construction’s and affiliated businesses capabilities and culture.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitor positioning, client expectations, and best practices in AEC marketing.
  • Develop and manage internal communications that promote company initiatives, strategic priorities, employee recognition, and organizational updates.
  • Partner with stakeholders to create presentations, newsletters, announcements, and communication materials that strengthen company culture and employee engagement.
  • Support company events, town halls, celebrations, social activities, and employee recognition initiatives.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to capture and share project milestones, employee achievements, and company successes.
  • Develop content that reinforces Elmington Construction’s values and culture.
  • Support business development efforts through the development of qualifications packages, proposal responses, interview presentations, and other pursuit-related materials.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including Preconstruction, Estimating, Business Development, and project teams to gather project information, differentiators, schedules, resumes, and technical content while coordinating pursuit activities throughout the lifecycle.
  • Develop compelling messaging that highlights company strengths, project approach, team expertise, and value proposition.
  • Coordinate proposal schedules, submission requirements, internal reviews, and approval processes.
  • Maintain proposal libraries, project descriptions, resumes, photography, qualifications, and marketing resources.
  • Develop materials and initiatives that strengthen Elmington Construction’s employer brand and attract top talent.
  • Partner with Learning & Development to develop presentations, training materials, EC University content, and other learning resources.
  • Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to improve content development, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Track project status, priorities, deadlines, and workload across concurrent initiatives while providing regular updates to Director of Operations and key stakeholders.
  • Establish project timelines, facilitate stakeholder meetings, manage reviews and approvals, and ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Establish and maintain marketing processes, standards, and workflows that support efficient execution and scalability.
  • Manage external marketing partners, vendors, photographers, videographers, and other creative resources as needed.
  • Develop and maintain marketing templates, tools, and resources to support consistent execution across Elmington Construction and its affiliated businesses.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve marketing processes, content quality, communication effectiveness, and pursuit effectiveness.
  • Additional responsibilities or assignments as identified by Director of Operations.
