About The Position

NRECA’s Marketing team is growing. We represent a portfolio of 100+ products, services, and programs for over 80,000 members nationwide. We are looking for strategic, data-driven, and growth-oriented Product Marketers to join our high-performing team. This is a central, highly visible function that partners across the organization with senior leadership to shape the experience of electric cooperatives nationwide. You will be a trusted strategic partner responsible for developing and leading integrated marketing plans and campaigns that drive product adoption, member engagement, and revenue growth across NRECA’s suite of programs, services, and educational offerings. You’ll bring a modern marketer’s mindset—combining audience insights, data analytics, value propositions, and emerging tools like AI-assisted content development—to design plans and campaigns that drive measurable results. Along the way, you’ll help elevate how we go to market, telling compelling stories that demonstrate the value of NRECA membership and the impact of electric cooperatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, ideally within a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute integrated, multichannel campaigns that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Strong experience using data, audience segmentation and analytics to inform strategy and optimize performance.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to connect business goals to marketing efforts and ultimately business impact and growth.
  • Exceptional assertive communication skills with a talent for asking the right questions, and then translating ideas into compelling, actionable messaging.
  • Ability to report to the office when required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that align to business goals and drive awareness, engagement, utilization and revenue growth across key products and programs.
  • Translate complex offerings into clear, compelling value propositions and messaging frameworks that resonate with diverse member audiences and differentiate in the marketplace.
  • Concept and deliver end-to-end campaigns across digital, email, social, web and event channels—optimizing the right mix to reach and convert target audiences.
  • Use audience segmentation, campaign performance metrics, and insights (engagement, conversion, behavior) to continuously refine strategies and improve results.
  • Utilize AI tools and marketing technologies to enhance content creation, streamline workflows, and increase campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders to define goals, assess opportunities, prioritize initiatives and deliver marketing solutions that drive impact.
  • Evaluate incoming requests through a strategic lens—ensuring alignment, guiding stakeholders to the most effective approach and protecting campaign integrity.
  • Partner with creative, communications, and marketing operations teams to ensure cohesive execution, strong brand alignment, and high-quality deliverables.
