About The Position

Sparkrock is seeking a strategic marketing professional with in-depth knowledge of the K-12 education sector to join their 100% remote organization. The Marketing Manager - K-12 will be responsible for the entire marketing funnel for Sparkrock's K-12 education products across North America. This role requires a blend of strategic marketing leadership and internal subject matter expertise for the K-12 market. The position involves translating complex educational challenges into compelling value propositions for district leaders, shaping the K-12 marketing strategy, leading go-to-market planning, developing audience-specific messaging, and owning the channels and campaigns to reach them. The ideal candidate is energized by building new initiatives, thrives with ownership, and sees a blank page as an opportunity. This role is perfect for someone who excels at the intersection of deep K-12 sector knowledge, strategic marketing, and hands-on execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Education, or a related field
  • 5+ years of marketing experience with at least 2 years in a management or lead capacity
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in K–12
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Strong understanding of the K–12 sector
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences
  • Proficiency with HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and LinkedIn

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French (written and verbal)
  • Experience using AI tools in a professional marketing context

Responsibilities

  • Own the full marketing funnel — from awareness through retention — for K–12 education-focused products and services
  • Lead go-to-market planning for new product launches, including messaging, positioning, and channel strategy
  • Develop audience-specific messaging frameworks that reflect the realities facing district leadership teams (Finance, Business Operations, Superintendents)
  • Manage and optimize digital marketing channels, including email, paid media, SEO/SEM, LinkedIn, and webinars
  • Collaborate with Sales to develop enablement materials tailored to K-12 finance/operations buyers
  • Create compelling content, including case studies, thought leadership, and impact stories
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, adjusting strategy based on data and market feedback
