About The Position

The Marketing Manager will help develop and implement brand strategy, innovation & marketing plans, and program activities aligned to the global vision to drive awareness, household penetration, and growth in the LAC Region. Responsibilities include partnering with Bimbo marketing leadership, Barcel Business Development, and other team members to develop and execute brand strategy and marketing programs, portfolio management, and the coordination of sales, cross functional teams, and suppliers as directed. Reporting to the Marketing Director – LATAM, the Brand Manager for this high-growth business leads marketing efforts and partners with local teams to implement marketing strategies that drive growth.

  • Ability to learn and be proficient at other analytical tools and data sources.
  • Bilingual required. English & Spanish.
  • Strong progressive Marketing background with 5+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading Barcel’s Salty Snacks business in partnership with the Marketing Director – LATAM, Business Development Director - LAC, and local teams.
  • Define marketing, communication, and new product strategies for the assigned region, aligning with the global and local teams
  • Design, plan, and execute effective marketing campaigns in line with the global-regional-local marketing strategy and measure campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Manage agencies and campaigns for regional communication plans.
  • Ensure consistent, relevant, and powerful execution of global brand messaging across the assigned region
  • Develop and manage marketing calendar planning for the region.
  • Lead the development of media plans for all countries in LAC.
  • Lead the development of regional/local consumer communication as needed.
  • Assist in the development of global consumer communication as needed
  • Help define new product launches, then partner with the commercialization and local teams to execute.
  • Monitor performance in market
  • Manage efforts of cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with overall business activities
  • Understand key consumer, market, and competitive performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends, and translate results into actionable insights
  • Assist with financial planning to develop plans and forecasts that drive growth and achieve profit objectives for the company
  • Assist in planning and reporting to ROW marketing team to inform data-based decisions for brand growth globally
  • Partner with global Revenue Growth Management (RGM) and local marketing teams to develop and execute optimal price/pack offerings
