About The Position

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to execute and provide input to the product marketing strategy for current and future marketing programs at XKL. You will report directly to and work closely with the Head of Sales & Marketing. This role requires a strong coaching leadership approach, with knowledge of product, digital, on-site event, and PR marketing for a technically complex hardware platform. We’re looking for someone who thrives on all things marketing strategy, generating qualified leads, and developing team members. You’ll own the marketing execution from brand awareness through sales enablement to start – we’re actively growing and the role will evolve with that growth.? This is a B2B product marketing role where success comes from strong positioning, product marketing execution, and the ability to turn ideas into strong brand perception. This role involves managing multiple marketing functions simultaneously, ensuring high-quality execution of technical marketing programs within set timelines. To support and contribute to XKL’s ambitious revenue objectives -- occasional evening and weekend work may be required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration plus 3-7 years of on-the-job experience, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Knowledge of product marketing and ability to integrate previous experience into XKL marketing programs.
  • Passion about what you do and ability to think outside of the box
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with external partners and internal cross-functional teams at all levels
  • Experience with Martech tools
  • Three or more years’ experience working in a technical, consulting, or client-facing role.
  • Problem solving attitude, with the ability to articulate and coach complex marketing topics
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering performance against goals consistently and predictably
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Responsibilities

  • In this highly visible growth-driver role, you will help define, manage, and drive the marketing strategy to support brand awareness and top of funnel
  • Develop and coach a team of individual executing programs and products: such as business development, digital, onsite, RFP and future needs.
  • Translate market characterization into action by partnering with Product, Sales, and Marketing to align road map priorities, messaging, and field execution with real customer demand.
  • Align new and existing customers with the XKL vision and ecosystem to drive business results
  • Forecast qualified leads and discovery calls
  • Strong process skills, you are not afraid of gaining deep expertise of the XKL MarTech stack; building dashboards for yourself to manage and present to departments across the organization.
  • Comfortable in ambiguous environments: You will be working on marketing programs that are already in development, iterating on those marketing programs, and launching new programs that support and align with the overarching business strategy
  • Act as the business owner for your programs—tracking ROI, making tradeoffs, and walking into senior-leadership conversations prepared to defend, adjust, or expand budget based on results.
  • Develop meaningful metrics that quantify business needs and create a culture of ownership and accountability.
  • Build a tight operating rhythm with the Head of Sales & Marketing, ensuring alignment on strategy, resourcing, and execution as the business scales.
