About The Position

As the Marketing Lead of Media Strategy, you will support the planning and implementation of assigned paid media plans. The role works cross functionally with internal marketing teams in creation of media plans to drive marketing goals. The Associate Manager will assist in the day-to-day management of the media agency, as well as manage media budgets for area of responsibility and provide operational support for the team. This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

Requirements

  • 3 years of progressive media planning experience in advertising agency, client or retail media network setting
  • Familiarity with retail media network, programmatic display and/or social campaign execution
  • Project coordination skills including rigorous attention to detail, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Curious and eagerness to learn, desire to stay current on industry trends, tools and business opportunities
  • Experience developing basic reporting and performance analyses, building clear presentation materials, and communicating insights effectively to cross-functional stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • An understanding of building and managing digital media campaigns in a buying platform
  • Experience with omni-channel media programs for a national, retail brand or retail media network
  • Advanced PC Skills to include all Microsoft Office products, and experience with Salesforce or Placements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the media planning process from planning through implementation for assigned onsite and offsite campaigns
  • Partner with internal partners and media agency on creation and execution of campaigns, ensuring campaigns deliver against goals while adhering to established guidelines
  • Steward the end-to-end process including media plan deliverables, budgets, approvals, and documentation
  • Understand and communicate drivers of campaign performance to internal and external partners
  • Support strategic planning and team projects across additional paid and owned media channels
