About The Position

We are seeking a marketer fluent in ASL to lead marketing efforts for acquired brands serving the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. This role involves building brands from the ground up, developing multi-channel content, automating marketing workflows, establishing community presence, and enabling sales. The position reports directly to the VP, Marketing & RevOps and offers growth potential as more brands are acquired. The target audiences include school districts, hospitals, courts, and employers who require interpreters who understand the community. The core responsibility is to prove the brand's commitment to the community through respectful and effective marketing.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience, with B2B exposure and understanding of buyer attention.
  • ASL fluency (conversational, professional fluency required).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community, its history, tensions, and norms.
  • Experience owning at least one brand or channel from scratch.
  • Aptitude for design and understanding of visual quality.
  • Experience using AI in marketing workflows.
  • Strong writing skills across different formats (white papers, social posts, customer emails).
  • Comfort with marketing automation platforms like HubSpot.
  • Clear, direct communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Availability to work core hours in Eastern, Central, or Mountain time.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, AEO, and content optimization best practices.
  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot reporting).

Nice To Haves

  • Lived experience in the Deaf or Hard of Hearing community (as a Deaf or hard-of-hearing person, CODA, or close family member).
  • Experience marketing accessibility, language-access, or healthcare-adjacent services.
  • Background in the language services, localization, or globalization space.

Responsibilities

  • Define and document brand voice, visual direction, and messaging architecture.
  • Audit and improve website, social profiles, and existing collateral.
  • Develop positioning that respectfully reflects the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community.
  • Apply marketing playbooks to future acquired brands.
  • Maintain a quarterly content calendar aligned with pipeline priorities and community events.
  • Produce various content formats including blog posts, white papers, case studies, social posts, and email newsletters.
  • Repurpose major content pieces into derivative assets across multiple channels.
  • Ensure content is accessible by default (captioned video, ASL overlay, plain-language summaries).
  • Build and maintain marketing automation workflows in HubSpot for lead nurturing and engagement.
  • Configure engagement scoring with RevOps to identify warm leads for sales.
  • Monitor social engagement and manage follow-up actions.
  • Execute customer marketing programs such as upsell, retention, and win-back campaigns.
  • Own the event calendar, including conferences, sponsorships, and community moments.
  • Coordinate event logistics, materials, and pre/post-event marketing.
  • Identify speaking, sponsorship, and advocacy opportunities.
  • Build relationships with Deaf-led organizations and community partners.
  • Create sales enablement collateral like pitch decks, one-pagers, and case studies.
  • Develop customer case studies showcasing problem-solving for target verticals.
  • Run upsell and cross-sell campaigns for the existing customer base.
  • Partner with sales to ensure messaging is current and effective.
