About The Position

This is a part-time internship position focused on supporting various marketing, social media, and event planning activities. The intern will gain hands-on experience in website management, content creation, administrative tasks, and event execution.

Requirements

Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program with an interest and aptitude to work in marketing, communications, or special events.
In-depth working knowledge of Facebook, X, Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple assignments and learn new skills quickly.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Review and audit websites for content updates.
Enter and/or change website content in WordPress.
Assist with the creation of social media posts.
Submit graphic requests for image needs and updates.
Assist with general administrative marketing duties (graphics requests, sample requests, packing and shipping materials, various forms, etc.).
Log social media receipts in a tracking document.
Assist with label update project (tracking in document when new labels arrive, adding new label to retail shelf, etc.).
Maintain promotional item inventory and fulfill requests.
Print, assemble, and ship point-of-sale materials.
Contribute to the planning, preparation, and execution of the Red Gold Annual Chili Cookoff.
Assist in planning and preparation of foodservice trade shows.
