About The Position

The Marketing Intern will support the IndeVets Marketing team with a focus on AI-assisted marketing operations, content, and research. This intern will gain hands-on exposure to how a modern marketing team uses AI tools to plan campaigns, analyze performance, and improve workflows — contributing to real projects while building a portfolio of work that reflects where marketing is headed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required AND Currently enrolled in Marketing, Communications, Business, Computer Science, or a related degree program (sophomore or above), OR a recent graduate within 12 months
• Some familiarity with AI tools — especially Claude — preferred. You don't need to be an expert, but you should have used them for real tasks beyond basic chatting
• Strong written communication skills and attention to brand voice and tone
• Curiosity about AI and how it applies to marketing — eager to learn and experiment in a structured environment
• Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts — email, paid media, social, or analytics
• Organized, communicative, and comfortable working in a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

• Use AI tools (primarily Claude) to assist with research, content drafts, and campaign summaries under team direction
• Support documentation of AI-assisted workflows as the team builds and refines them
• Conduct market and competitive research and summarize findings in clear, actionable memos
• Help analyze campaign metrics and surface key findings for the team
• QA outputs from AI workflows — flag inconsistencies, errors, or off-brand language
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas on how AI tools could improve team processes
• Assist with content creation for email campaigns, social media, and marketing collateral
• Performs other related duties as assigned
