About The Position

First Security Bank is seeking a professional, energetic, and team-oriented individual to join our team as a Marketing Assistant! If you are passionate about serving our Arkansas communities and want to be part of a dynamic, service-driven team, we encourage you to apply! In this role, you will coordinate and support a broad range of marketing initiatives, including advertising, promotions, sales support, market research, print production, customer and employee events, and community outreach. This position requires on-site work.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 6 months of banking or marketing, advertising, art, communication, or public relations experience required.
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Share Point, typing, 10-key, and utilization of the internet is required.
  • Commitment to demonstrating First Security's Core 5 values with customers and coworkers.
  • Ability to hold a valid driver's license with access to a vehicle that can be used for business travel purposes.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's in marketing or business preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the production of the bank's media, advertising materials, and sales literature in collaboration with the Marketing Officer and external advertising partners.
  • Organize and support branch openings, community involvement initiatives, and bank participation in local events.
  • Assist in the administration of promotional campaigns and employee sales programs.
  • Assist in daily marketing tasks and requests from both the Conway and Russellville markets.
  • Support budget management, scheduling, and performance tracking for media campaigns and promotional projects; process charitable donation requests.
  • Coordinate the local production of company newsletters and other internal communications.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing department, including managing phones, copying, customer outreach, and database maintenance.
  • Protect all customer information and bank operations through strict confidentiality.
  • Operate computer software and equipment, telephone, scanner, and copier, and develop proficiency with internal banking systems.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, punctual attendance, and the ability to work on-site with occasional extended hours when necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
