About The Position

KENT Consumer Brands Americas, LLC, a member of the KENT WORLDWIDE™ family of companies, is seeking a Marketing Intern for Summer 2027. In this hands-on role, you'll gain experience in brand marketing, consumer insights, competitive analysis, and market research while helping strengthen our brands and support business growth. This position is designed and intended to be performed in Muscatine, IA. Company Paid Housing, fully furnished available! Requirements

Working toward a degree in Marketing, Marketing Research or Business with Marketing focus
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills
Familiarity with conducting competitive analyses
Comfortable working independently when needed
Basic understanding of key marketing principles – completion of a minimum of two marketing related classes

Responsibilities

Monitor social media platforms, forums, and online communities to identify trends, sentiment, and emerging conversations relevant to our brand and industry.
Analyze data from social listening tools to uncover actionable insights that inform marketing strategies, content development, and customer engagement.
Prepare regular reports highlighting key findings, audience behaviors, and opportunities for brand engagement.
Ensure all marketing materials adhere to established brand guidelines, tone, and messaging standards.
Make recommendations to enhance brand consistency across in-store materials, trade shows, consumer touchpoints and sales support materials.
Identify gaps to drive promotional ideas and innovation.
Support the Brand team on several special projects to enhance Marketing Content, Identify Product Assortment Opportunities, Analyze Marketing Spend performance and Identity efficiencies, develop Materials to Enhance how the brands show up in front of consumers and customers, etc.
Evaluate key competitors 4P’s and identify areas of opportunity for our brands.
Act as the bridge between marketing and sales teams to ensure social listening insights are shared and applied effectively.
Translate audience feedback and sentiment into actionable recommendations.
