In this hands-on internship, you'll work alongside experienced professionals, explore what drives consumer behavior, and contribute to projects that support product innovation and brand growth. From analyzing market trends to helping bring new pet care products to market, you'll gain meaningful experience while making an impact from day one. This opportunity is designed and intended to be performed in Muscatine, IA.

Requirements

Working toward a degree in Marketing, Marketing Research or Business with Marketing focus
Basic understanding of key marketing principles – completion of a minimum of two marketing related classes
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills
Familiarity with conducting competitive analyses
Comfortable working independently when needed

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage internal resources, and conduct store visits to gather insights that support product development and innovation.
Analyze consumer trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity to inform product strategy and consumer messaging.
Track and evaluate WellJoy product performance, helping identify opportunities to strengthen brand growth and sales.
Support e-commerce initiatives by analyzing and optimizing product listings and monitoring customer reviews and feedback.
Assist in developing recommendations and action plans to improve product performance and drive business results.
Partner with advertising agencies to support brand media planning and marketing initiatives.
Help create content and materials for pet industry expos, retailer meetings, and other key brand events.
Support the product development process by contributing to projects that bring new and innovative pet care products to market.
