About The Position

This internship offers hands-on experience supporting campaigns that drive member engagement and promote our products and services. As a Marketing Intern, you’ll assist with a variety of marketing projects, including content creation, promotional materials, events and internal communications. You’ll gain valuable exposure to real-world marketing initiatives and the credit union industry while developing practical, resume-building skills.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Marketing Team with social media content by brainstorming ideas, drafting posts, and assisting with scheduling content across various platforms in alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Help maintain social media calendars, monitor basic engagement activity, and support tracking and organization of social media assets while gaining exposure to how social media contributes to overall marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain and update the Marketing Hub intranet page and contribute ideas to better engage internal staff.
  • Assist with internal graphic requests by ensuring details are complete, tracking deadlines, and following up with stakeholders.
  • Support day-to-day marketing activities by researching and drafting blog posts, social media content, and campaign ideas.
  • Help with copywriting for newsletters, emails, website content, and other marketing materials.
  • Support onsite and offsite marketing events, including occasional evenings or weekends for special organizational events.
  • Help coordinate and prepare event materials, maintain event checklists, package items for team members, and organize materials post-event for future use.
  • Assist with organizing marketing materials, maintaining databases, coordinating meetings, and supporting special projects.
  • Build strong, positive working relationships by actively supporting the organization’s mission, vision, and core values.
