About The Position
SPCA Tampa Bay is looking for a creative and driven Marketing Intern to support digital media, social content, and promotional efforts for our adoptable pets and outreach events. This role is ideal for a student or aspiring content creator who loves animals and wants to make a difference. The internship offers a $300 monthly stipend for 40 hours of work per month.
Requirements
- Age 18+
- Portfolio samples (writing, photography, social, or design)
- Enrolled or planning to enroll in Marketing or other related degree program or course of study.
- Familiar with major social media platforms
- Comfortable working around animals of all sizes
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Willing to work some evenings/weekends for events
Responsibilities
- Take and upload pet photos; write engaging animal bios
- Capture and post content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Write blogs and script content for short videos
- Help design flyers and event materials
- Attend events and assist with marketing tasks
- Maintain social calendars and respond to online inquiries
