About The Position

The New York office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is looking for a Marketing Intern to support the Client Development & Marketing Department. Willkie is an elite international law firm of approximately 1,300 lawyers located in 16 offices in six countries. The Marketing Intern will assist with a variety of business development and marketing functions, including experience tracking for sell sheets, research support, pitch audits, database maintenance, and event coordination. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual with strong research and organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a genuine interest in legal marketing and business development. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a law firm environment. This is a full-time, six-month engagement running from January 2027 through June 2027.

Requirements

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Library Science, or related field
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Ability to conduct research using various databases and online platforms
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and take initiative

Responsibilities

  • Assist with a variety of business development and marketing functions, including experience tracking for sell sheets, research support, pitch audits, database maintenance, and event coordination.
  • Research using CapitalIQ, LinkedIn and corporate websites.
  • Support CRM by updating mailing lists, researching contacts, creating reports and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Provide exceptional administrative support to attorneys and staff while maintaining communication with attorneys, staff and manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
