About The Position

The Jim Pattison Auto Group is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Content & Graphic Design Specialist to join our Marketing team at our Head Office in Surrey. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about visual storytelling, graphic design, photography, and video production. You'll be responsible for creating high-quality marketing assets across digital, print, and in-store channels while supporting our dealership marketing initiatives across Western Canada. Working closely with the marketing team, you'll help bring campaigns to life through compelling creative that strengthens our brands and enhances the customer experience.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in graphic design, content creation, or a related creative role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro (or equivalent video editing software).
  • Strong understanding of graphic design principles including typography, layout, hierarchy, branding, colour, and visual communication.
  • Experience capturing and editing professional photo and video content.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and digital marketing platforms.
  • Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing best practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's licence with the ability to travel locally between dealerships as required.
  • This role requires successful candidates to submit a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.

  • Post-secondary education in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design monthly advertising assets for digital, print, email, and website campaigns.
  • Capture and produce engaging photo and video content for dealership marketing initiatives.
  • Create compelling graphics and creative assets that align with brand standards and campaign objectives.
  • Edit and produce video content for digital marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to support and execute dealership marketing strategies.
  • Prepare artwork and creative files for a variety of marketing channels, including websites, email campaigns, digital advertising, and print.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all creative materials.
  • Track content engagement metrics and identify opportunities to improve creative performance.
  • Assist with publishing digital content and updating online assets when required.
  • Stay current with graphic design, content creation, photography, video, and digital marketing trends.
  • Participate in identifying opportunities to improve creative processes and workflow.
