About The Position

The Director of Marketing will build and lead the marketing function that establishes Cadre as the most trusted and recognized AI transformation firm in the country. This is not a support role. You own brand strategy, thought leadership, demand generation, and community—and you work directly with our executive team to shape how the market understands AI implementation. You will build a premium brand that mid-market operators and enterprise leaders immediately recognize as the gold standard for AI integration. You’ll drive both top-of-funnel awareness and qualified inbound pipeline through compelling content, strategic partnerships, high-impact events, and a world-class digital presence. You set the vision and you do the work. If you want to lead marketing for the defining firm in the AI transformation space, this is it.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in B2B marketing, brand marketing, or demand generation—professional services, consulting, or high-growth tech preferred
  • Proven ability to build or scale a brand to market leadership, not just maintain one
  • Strong strategic thinker who also executes—you set the vision and then do the work yourself
  • Exceptional writer and storyteller with the ability to communicate to executive audiences clearly and compellingly
  • Experienced with marketing technology: HubSpot, Webflow, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, and SEO tools
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage agencies, freelancers, and competing priorities without dropping the ball
  • Entrepreneurial mindset—you thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and build structure where there isn’t any
  • Fluent with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, and others) as part of your daily workflow, not just curious about them

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve Cadre’s brand identity as the premium leader in AI transformation
  • Own messaging frameworks across audiences and verticals—Private Equity, Lending, B2B Services, and beyond
  • Position Cadre as the firm that actually delivers on AI transformation, not just talks about it
  • Own end-to-end content strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, newsletters, long-form content, and video
  • Translate Cadre’s frameworks, client wins, and executive insights into high-impact content that moves the market
  • Position Cadre executives as the go-to voices in AI transformation
  • Manage relationships with designers, videographers, and external creators to execute at a high standard
  • Own Cadre’s PR strategy and media relationships
  • Secure coverage, speaking opportunities, and thought leadership placements in the publications and venues that matter to our buyers
  • Build conversion funnels that turn awareness into qualified pipeline
  • Develop high-value lead magnets—AI readiness playbooks, frameworks, executive guides—that attract the right buyers
  • Own email marketing, nurture campaigns, and SEO strategy
  • Drive measurable inbound leads and pipeline contribution with clear reporting on what’s working
  • Plan and execute monthly AI webinars, executive roundtables, and industry events
  • Manage end-to-end event execution: topic selection, promotion, creative assets, and ROI tracking
  • Ensure events drive real business outcomes—pipeline and relationships—not just attendance
  • Own brand marketing and community strategy for SDx (Cadre operates SDx, a premium community for AI builders and leaders)
  • Lead sponsorship development and partner engagement to grow SDx’s reach and value
  • Build SDx into a recognized brand that drives value for members and strengthens Cadre’s market position
  • Own Cadre’s website and digital properties, including the SDx site
  • Lead website strategy, UX, messaging, and conversion optimization
  • Maintain landing pages, case studies, and lead capture mechanisms that convert
  • Own all marketing and sales collateral: capabilities deck, service decks, industry playbooks, and case studies
  • Collaborate closely with sales and strategy leadership to align messaging and positioning across every touchpoint
  • Ensure all assets are brand-consistent, persuasive, and built to convert
  • Support the leadership team in building personal executive brands that extend Cadre’s reach and credibility
  • Develop content frameworks and manage ghostwriting for executive thought leadership across LinkedIn and beyond
  • Turn executive thinking into top-of-funnel content that attracts the right buyers and partners
  • Own marketing reporting across leads, pipeline, funnel conversion, social engagement, newsletter performance, events, and website metrics
  • Build dashboards and use data to refine strategy, cut what isn’t working, and double down on what is
