About The Position

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Marketing Director to lead our integrated marketing efforts across the full customer lifecycle - from awareness through onboarding, engagement, retention and advocacy. This role is responsible for developing and executing programs that drive revenue growth, deepen relationships across our audience, amplify our brand presence and drive customer retention. The Marketing Director will oversee a high-performing team responsible for revenue growth programs, content and email marketing, product launches, events, and customer retention. The ideal candidate is a seasoned marketer with a strong grasp of the full marketing funnel, a passion for creative storytelling, and the ability to translate strategy into measurable impact.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership of integrated campaigns across acquisition and engagement.
  • Proven track record in revenue growth marketing, marketing automation, and digital campaign optimization.
  • Strong experience managing cross-channel marketing including email, social, events, and web.
  • Ability to translate complex business priorities into clear marketing strategies and actionable plans.
  • Analytical mindset with experience measuring marketing performance, interpreting data, and adjusting tactics to improve outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with experience managing teams and collaborating cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives growth, engagement and retention across all channels.
  • Partner with sales teams to align marketing activities with business goals, ensuring consistent messaging and a strong contribution to revenue growth.
  • Lead an integrated planning process to ensure campaigns and communications are cohesive across audience segments and touchpoints.
  • Oversee the development of programs that drive revenue growth across the customer lifecycle, from initial engagement through long-term retention.
  • Manage marketing performance across the full funnel, optimizing programs based on data, attribution, and revenue impact.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to design, launch, and evaluate digital campaigns (SEO, SEM, social, and paid media).
  • Lead messaging and campaign development for research releases, product launches, webinars, and events.
  • Ensure all communications - email, web, and social - are consistent, compelling, and on brand for both members and prospects.
  • Evolve targeted member communication strategies that support retention and advocacy.
  • Drive marketing support for McLean & Company events, conferences, and webinars to maximize attendance and engagement.
  • Oversee launch plans for new research and products, ensuring clear positioning and strong market impact.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary marketing team.
  • Foster a collaborative, performance-driven culture focused on learning, experimentation, and results.
