About The Position

Shure is seeking a Marketing Data Specialist I to build the insight behind products people trust. The Marketing Data Specialist I is an entry‑level role designed for someone eager to build a strong foundation in marketing operations, analytics, and data‑driven decision making. This position supports the execution of marketing initiatives by helping organize, maintain, and analyze marketing and engagement data. The role provides hands‑on experience working with cross‑functional teams to understand customer behavior, improve marketing effectiveness, and support the generation of high‑quality leads that help sales teams succeed. This position will be hybrid based out of our Niles, IL HQ!

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Music, Electronics, or related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in marketing.
  • Curious, analytical, detail-oriented, and resourceful; strong ability to work independently after receiving general instructions on daily work and detailed instructions on newly introduced assignments.
  • Strong cross-functional thinking and desire to work in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate constructive discussion.
  • Excellent proofreading skills with an eye for correct grammar and an ear for good copy.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management database (i.e. Salesforce) is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with maintaining lead scoring rules and inputs in Salesforce to support accurate lead evaluation.
  • Manage engagement and behavioral data used for lead scoring, including content interactions and campaign activity, to ensure accurate and consistent scoring.
  • Monitor lead scoring performance and support updates to improve accuracy over time, including reviewing engagement trends and funnel progression.
  • Work cross‑functionally with Market Development, Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales Enablement teams to align lead scoring with lifecycle stages and activation efforts.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations teams on data quality checks, system updates, and reporting related to lead scoring and funnel performance.
  • Support reporting and analysis on lead scoring and funnel progression by preparing summaries and insights for optimization discussions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
