About The Position

SharkNinja is a global product design and technology company with a diversified portfolio of lifestyle solutions. They are building an AI-native culture and are looking for early career talent through their Early Edge Experience program, which offers internships and co-ops. This is a single application for marketing, creative, communications, and eCommerce early talent roles. Interns will work on real campaigns and launches, contributing to various aspects of marketing and product introduction. The program emphasizes professional development, community events, and showcasing contributions to leadership. The company values curiosity, consumer obsession, and a fast-moving, impact-driven approach.

  • Current student in a related bachelor's or master’s or PhD program or has graduated from such a program within the past year — Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Media, Graphic or Visual Design, Business, Analytics, or similar.
  • Must be able to work a full-time, 40-hour-per-week onsite-hybrid schedule; specific location and number of onsite days vary by team and term.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and the instinct to tailor a message to its audience.
  • A consumer-first perspective and real curiosity about why people buy what they buy.
  • Comfortable with data — you can read a report, spot the trend, and turn it into a recommendation.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization across multiple projects and shifting deadlines.
  • Creative and proactive: you bring ideas, and you follow them through to execution.
  • Collaborative and positive in brainstorms, reviews, and cross-functional work.
  • Discretion and professionalism with unreleased product and campaign information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

You can link them in your resume or attach them in the cover letter field. Samples are not required for consideration for the brand marketing, communications, eCommerce, or marketplace teams.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to real campaigns and product launches across Shark and Ninja, from brief to in-market.
  • Turn consumer and performance insights into creative, content, and commercial decisions.
  • Build assets people actually see — social content, campaign creative, packaging copy, retailer pages, email, and video.
  • Track how campaigns perform across earned, owned, and paid channels, and summarize what worked and what didn’t.
  • Collaborate with brand, creative, social, digital, sales, and external agency partners.
  • Present your ideas and your results to cross-functional partners and marketing leaders.
  • Learn how a global consumer brand actually operates — process, approvals, systems, and speed.
  • Own a meaningful project end to end and present your contributions to SharkNinja leaders.
  • Coordinating consumer research for actionable insights that feed product development and marketing strategy.
  • Reviewing marketing collateral across retailer, web, and social platforms for brand alignment, and creating or updating packaging, instruction manuals, and quick start guides.
  • Analyzing the competitive landscape, SKU assortments, and white space opportunities, and maintaining category databases such as NPD.
  • Contributing to strategic marketing and PR briefs for product launches and full-funnel campaigns across social media, retail, digital, and earned media.
  • Supporting brand activations — product gifting, event planning, influencer moments, launch milestones — and preparing press kits and coordinating sample shipments.
  • Monitoring earned, owned, and paid campaign performance and summarizing results in reports.
  • Managing product samples for photoshoots, PR initiatives, and media events, and supporting day-to-day management of external agencies.
  • Drafting and editing copy for campaigns, packaging, retail, and internal and external communications.
  • Supporting LATAM go-to-market — localized assortment and pricing strategy, sell-in decks for new product development (NPD) launches, and partnering with regional sales teams across Mexico and Brazil.
  • Developing and executing short-form video for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, and editing platform-native content in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or After Effects.
  • Contributing creative concepts aligned to brand objectives and emerging social trends, and capturing behind-the-scenes, product-focused, and lifestyle assets.
  • Building and maintaining editorial calendars, and supporting global social operations — publishing workflows, channel governance, and asset routing across markets.
  • Monitoring and responding to community feedback, inquiries, and discussions in the brand voice across social media, forums, and online groups.
  • Cultivating relationships with community members, influencers, and brand advocates, and sourcing user-generated content, testimonials, and case studies.
  • Creating and curating engaging community content — posts, polls, contests, and events.
  • Applying performance insights on engagement, reach, sentiment, and brand impact to optimize content.
  • Creating visual assets for digital and print — social media graphics, marketing materials, advertisements, and presentations — in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Crafting full-size packaging mockups from die lines and digital prints, and preparing mood boards, mounted comps, and print-ready production files.
  • Coordinating creative timelines, asset organization, version control, and delivery across digital, packaging, and retail channels using tools such as Workfront, Asana, Monday, Airtable, Box, or SharePoint.
  • Supporting photoshoot, video, and post-production coordination, and routing feedback and approvals through creative review.
  • Translating creative briefs into concepts that hold to brand guidelines, file naming conventions, and studio server systems.
  • Building and updating web pages and site journeys for promotional campaigns, and ensuring accuracy of creative assets, linking, and promotional and product setup.

  • Monitoring website and email KPIs in tools such as GA360 and CMS and CRM platforms, and identifying optimizations and risks.
  • Managing day-to-day promotional tooling — calendar updates, promo vetting, and confirmation tracking — and improving or automating those processes.
  • Analyzing internal and competitive pricing across marketplace platforms such as Amazon and Walmart, and supporting assortment and pricing decisions.
  • Auditing the digital shelf — content accuracy, imagery, ratings and reviews, and search presence — across retailer and marketplace listings.
