About The Position

Verstela is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join their corporate Marketing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication, organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills gained from customer service or administrative work, who wishes to apply these skills in a marketing context. The coordinator will work closely with the Marketing Operations Manager, support company-wide projects, and gain hands-on experience in areas such as websites, SEO, email marketing, HubSpot, social media, content creation, and project coordination. This position is suitable for individuals who enjoy supporting diverse tasks, learning new tools, are detail-oriented, and desire marketing experience within a collaborative team setting.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of customer service, administrative, project coordination, marketing, business support, or related experience.
  • Strong communication, organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and basic proofreading/editing skills.
  • Ability to follow processes, manage details, and ask thoughtful questions when learning something new.
  • Comfortable learning new systems, platforms, and technology.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with social media, websites, email marketing, CRM systems, HubSpot, WordPress or another CMS, Canva, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing tools is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Marketing Operations Manager to support marketing projects, campaigns, digital tools, reporting, and process improvements.
  • Keep marketing projects organized by tracking tasks, deadlines, follow-ups, and deliverables.
  • Support website updates, blog publishing, landing page updates, and basic SEO improvements, including metadata, headers, internal links, image alt text, local listings, and content accuracy.
  • Help build, test, schedule, and report on email campaigns and newsletters.
  • Maintain HubSpot contacts, lists, workflows, CRM organization, and data quality.
  • Support social media scheduling, content formatting, proofreading, and simple creative updates.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to help marketing work stay organized and moving forward.
