About The Position

The Marketing Coordinator assumes responsibility for effectively overseeing and managing the company’s social media presence, including developing the overall strategy, writing posts, measuring effectiveness, and building social communities. This role also leads graphic design and layout of all marketing materials, manages email campaigns and lists, and measures campaign effectiveness. Additionally, the coordinator helps manage event coordination, website administration, and directs activities for grand openings, including preparing information sheets, ordering signs and flowers, planning for photography, and providing store gifts. The position also involves miscellaneous writing assignments such as creating articles, advertisements, and announcements for newsletters, meetings, and special events, as well as preparing member communications and handling trademark registration functions. The role ensures that event activities are effective and support marketing objectives. This is an in-office position. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for maintaining professional business relations with members, the Chamber of Commerce, vendors, trade professionals, and the public. This includes representing the Credit Union at conventions and business fairs, actively selling products and services, directing Credit Union sponsorships to support marketing goals, and answering related correspondence. The role also involves resolving requests, questions, and problems courteously and professionally, ensuring efficient and effective communications, and ensuring that publicity and marketing activities generate positive responses from members, prospective members, and the community, thereby maintaining the Credit Union’s professional reputation. Furthermore, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with Credit Union personnel and management, attending and supporting Marketing meetings and activities, and assisting departments as needed. This includes answering questions, resolving problems, and completing required reports promptly and accurately. The role ensures Senior Management is informed of area activities, training, and any significant concerns. Finally, the Marketing Coordinator assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned, including completing special projects.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of similar or related experience.
  • A college degree.

Responsibilities

  • Representing the Credit Union at conventions and business fairs and actively selling products and services.

  • Answering related correspondence and representing the Credit Union at sponsor functions.
  • Resolving requests, questions, and problems courteously and professionally.
