About The Position

JB&A is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Folsom. You will be the engine behind our daily marketing operations, ensuring that our messaging across social media, email, and events is executed flawlessly. This role is perfect for a process-driven individual who loves keeping projects on track and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Technical Communications preferred or 1–3 years in B2B marketing, experience within the ProAV, Broadcast, or IT sectors a bonus.
  • Exceptional project management skills.
  • Demonstrated success in writing for a B2B audience, skilled at taking technical specifications and turning them into engaging narratives that resonate with our partners.
  • Proven experience with Zoho (CRM, Campaigns, or Marketing Automation) or a similar enterprise-level marketing suite.
  • Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS systems.
  • A deep understanding of social media scheduling and email marketing best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal skills; able to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors, with strong follow-through.
  • Ability to identify challenges, take initiative, and implement effective solutions without constant direction.
  • Ability to work on-site at our Folsom office to collaborate directly with the Marketing Manager and broader team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end flow of marketing collateral, ensuring all assets (graphics, copy, and video) are ready for deployment across LinkedIn, X, and other social platforms.
  • Utilize Zoho to schedule campaigns, track lead engagement, and maintain our marketing calendar.
  • Build, test, and deploy weekly newsletters and promotional blasts, including list segmentation and ensuring all links and tracking codes are functional.
  • Provide critical support for both Live and Web-based events, including coordinating registration pages, managing attendee lists, and assisting with showcases.
  • Travel for events and trade shows and be present to support efforts onsite.
  • Keep website content current by coordinating updates with internal teams, working with graphic designers to place new content, visuals, and assets, and reviewing pages for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Act as a gatekeeper for the JB&A brand, ensuring all outbound communication aligns with our voice and professional standards.
  • Draft engaging, high-quality blog posts and email copy that resonates with our audience of VARs and end-users.
  • Act as the bridge between marketing and the Engineering Team, interviewing technical experts to translate complex workflows and product specs into clear, accurate, and digestible marketing copy.
  • Own the proofreading and editing process, ensuring all technical terms are used correctly and consistently.
  • Work closely with our key vendors to ensure their specific brand voice and value propositions are authentically represented in JB&A’s co-branded campaigns.
  • Coordinate with vendor marketing contacts to secure the latest product imagery, white papers, and technical documentation for our promotional use.
  • Ensure that all joint marketing efforts meet both JB&A’s standards and our partners' compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with partners to execute joint demand-generation campaigns, including webinars, email marketing, digital advertising, and participation in trade shows.
