About The Position
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support our on-site marketing initiatives and bring fresh ideas to life. In this property based role, you’ll be planning, coordinating, implementing, and monitoring marketing campaigns for Blue Mountain Resort. Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills for representing organizations in public, during media events and product launches, product demonstrations and while participating at trade shows.
- Project management experience and time-management skills for juggling numerous time-sensitive projects simultaneously.
- A working knowledge of basic computer applications, programs and features is a must.
- Experience creating video content (TikToks, Reels, etc.)
- Basic understanding on how to capture engaging images for social media
- Proficient in WordPress, Excel, MS Word, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite
- Availability to include weekdays, weekends, evening, and holidays.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of our guests.
- Ability to work on property in a fun, fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to speak and read the English language, additional languages a plus.
Nice To Haves
- Being familiar with project management software is also an asset.
- Experience in web page development or graphic design being very helpful.
- Photoshop skills preferred.
- Ski or Snowboard experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing copy and maintaining brand voice across social platforms.
- Assist in developing seasonal strategy for social media channels.
- Assist in creating social media videos including Reels, TikToks, and Instagram Stories.
- Work with department managers to highlight lines of business throughout the property.
- Help maintain content library.
- Consistent monitoring of marketing industry trends and related ski resort businesses, researching and evaluating opportunities.
- Oversee snow report and conditions updates.
