This role contributes to the overall success of the office by adhering to firm and project goals. The Marketing Coordinator works with the corporate graphics team to maintain a standard of graphic design excellence across all efforts. They prepare and coordinate proposals, qualifications, packages, and presentations for prospective clients, and are responsible for scheduling and tracking the production of these materials to meet deadlines, as well as assisting in production efforts. The position involves participating in cross-disciplinary meetings to help align ideas, production, and timelines. The Marketing Coordinator will draft, edit, organize, and proof various marketing collateral, including proposal content, project sheets, resumes, award submittments, brochures, media relations pieces, and interview content to ensure it is comprehensive, competitive, and client-specific, in accordance with Perkins&Will brand standards. They will research clients, market trends, and background information to understand the local competitive landscape and will have a basic knowledge of interview team dynamics and processes. This role also manages social media accounts and website content updates, as well as project and client data in firmwide databases. Additionally, the Marketing Coordinator participates in coordinating events, public relations efforts, advertisements, materials for trade shows, content for speaking engagements, direct mail campaigns, and award submittals. They will begin to understand the strategy behind collateral content, support firmwide initiatives, and maintain open and clear communication. The role requires using storytelling to enhance marketing strategy and a creative approach to perform tasks and responsibilities on projects in an organized, timely, and consistent way. Self-checking work for accuracy, omissions, and legibility is essential, as is proactively asking questions and expressing curiosity about the industry. The Marketing Coordinator assists with coordination among teams, potential clients, and consultants.
