About The Position

Oversees the daily marketing and communication functions of the department in a manner consistent with the corporate mission, values, and Bank brand. This role utilizes a strong understanding of marketing principles and effective communication practices to support the execution of advertising, branding, and public relations initiatives that drive the Bank's strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, business, or related field necessary.
  • Minimum two years of previous applicable marketing. Communications and/or journalism experience required.
  • Required proficiency in graphic design and layout, with the ability to develop, modify, and finalize print-ready marketing materials in alignment with brand standards and production requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including solid presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills who can interact as a team player effectively with staff and management across all departments.
  • Possesses computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Strong project management skills; able to prioritize and successfully handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the banking industry and familiarity with Bank products and services is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and/or coordinates the production of marketing collateral materials, such as product cards, as well as print and digital advertising, and any materials that promote Bank-sponsored events and programs. (e.g., designing flyers, signage, eBlasts, etc.)
  • Serves as the liaison between Marketing and the Sales teams to ensure they have all necessary materials and promotional items needed.
  • Support the sales teams by creating customized marketing collateral, presentations, and client-facing materials
  • Designs and produces marketing and sales materials using Bank software platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Surefire, etc.)
  • Develops and produces executive-level communications on behalf of Bank leadership, including customer-facing letters, speeches, and articles.
  • Ensures all content is clear, accurate, and aligned with the Bank's brand voice, strategic messaging, and regulatory requirements.
  • Translates complex information into effective, audience-appropriate communications that support customer engagement and the Bank's reputation.
  • Prepares and disseminates press releases to media to enhance community awareness of the Bank.
  • Helps plan, create and execute marketing communications plans and public relations efforts to promote the Bank brand and increase awareness of the Bank's products and services.
  • Supports and promotes the Bank's culture through effective internal communication strategies and practices.
  • Develops and delivers clear, consistent messaging to employees, ensuring alignment with organizational values and objectives.
  • Reviews and edits internal communications for clarity, accuracy, brand consistency, and compliance prior to distribution.
  • Serves as a resource to staff in crafting effective communications that reflect the Bank's voice and reinforce a positive, unified workplace culture.
  • Assists with the development of short- and long-term marketing goals for the department that impact market share, and the profitability of products/services and customer relationships.
  • Builds relationships with, and provides project direction to, third-party marketing service providers such as advertising agencies, designers, printers and promotion companies.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support product promotions, sponsorships, events, and community initiatives.
  • Works on other projects when needed.
