Marketing Coordinator
About The Position
Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a highly engaging, customer-focused individual to join their sales team as a Marketing Coordinator. This role is primarily responsible for supporting the Sales Team by ensuring they have the necessary tools, supplies, and resources to deliver exceptional service. The Marketing Coordinator will create positive guest interactions to build anticipation for upcoming visits and provide accurate information about the resort and special events. This position is key to helping guests discover their "Wanderlust" experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hotel/resort setting, enjoy engaging with people globally, making meaningful connections, and aiming to "WOW" guests. This is a significant opportunity for a driven individual to advance their career in hospitality at a world-class property.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous hotel or resort experience preferred.
- A strong desire to make an impact on other people.
- An outgoing and engaging personality.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls.
- Qualify inquiries and set up calls with Sales & Catering Sales Managers.
- Send packages and answer general questions.
- Create monthly recaps of leads and updates.
- Assist in creating contracts, estimates, and site tours.
- Create Sales & Catering kits and restock the supply area as appropriate.
- Control office supplies and order supplies when necessary.
- Update the Sales System with actuals after the completion of events.
- Send out Thank You Cards/Emails.
