About The Position

Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support the creation and execution of marketing strategies aimed at increasing brand awareness, building community, and supporting HRC New Business initiatives (merchandise and performance parts). This role is ideal for someone passionate about motorsports like IndyCar, IMSA, and F1, who can translate that passion into compelling digital storytelling. The position involves supporting social media, digital platforms, and e-commerce initiatives, bringing the excitement of motorsports to fans. It requires a blend of creativity and execution, with the ability to work quickly, stay organized, and think strategically.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, and content creation.
  • A genuine passion for motorsports - IndyCar, IMSA, and F1.
  • Experience managing both organic and paid social efforts.
  • Understanding of paid media campaigns, including audience targeting, creative strategy, and performance metrics.
  • Strong communication skills and an eye for compelling visual storytelling.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and email marketing tools.
  • Ability to work quickly, stay organized, and adapt to the fast pace of race season.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to jump in wherever needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience creating social graphics, race weekend templates, promotional assets, or simple motion graphics.
  • Ability to edit short form content for reels, highlights, and storytelling.
  • Compile weekly/monthly analytics across organic and paid channels, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Directly liaise with vendors for creative and strategic execution, including drafting briefs, proposal analysis, and day-to-day communications.
  • Assist with production shoots and event coverage.
  • Lead asset management and support organic copy deck creation/management.
  • Support oversight of HRC’s editorial calendar for organic and paid programming.
  • Support driving social media content strategy, including caption copy and publishing considerations for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
  • Assist in planning, executing, and optimizing paid social campaigns, including audience targeting, creative needs, and performance tracking.
  • Engage with fans, respond to comments, and monitor motorsports conversations to maintain community activity.
  • Stay updated on motorsports news, race results, team updates, and social trends to ensure content relevance.
  • Assist with updates to the HRC brand site, including product pages, race news, and promotional content.
  • Support product launches, merchandising updates, and digital asset organization.
  • Help build, QA, and deploy email campaigns, including race recaps, product drops, and promotions.
  • Support reporting across web and email channels to optimize performance and user experience.
  • Produce motorsports-driven content during race weekends and event coverage, including behind-the-scenes moments and business spotlights.
