About The Position

Editage, a brand of Cactus Communications, is a leading global research solutions provider helping scholars, universities, and institutions with editing, translation, publication support, and researcher training. This is a 3-month contractual opportunity focused on expanding Editage's presence in the United States, supporting researchers to publish with confidence and achieve global visibility.

Requirements

Student or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, Communications, International Relations, or related fields.
Strong interest in academic publishing, research, or higher education.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to work in a multicultural environment.
Legal authorization to work in the country where this role is advertised.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of digital marketing tools, social media, and CRM platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

Research U.S. universities, research labs, funding agencies, and publishing trends.
Track emerging conversations around AI, academic integrity, and publication ethics within the U.S. research ecosystem.
Assist in Editage’s campaigns for the US audience (Thanksgiving, Black Friday, AI + Human launch, etc.).
Support digital marketing — Ideation, drafting posts, coordinating between teams for the launch of IMC campaigns.
Track social media and digital performance metrics; assist in weekly campaign reporting and insight gathering.
Support coordination for on-ground university presence — researcher meetups, student workshops, and conference tie-ups.
Help plan and execute virtual or hybrid events for grad students and faculty.
Liaise with student groups and research organizations to drive awareness and partnerships.
Identify potential academic creators, grad fluencers, and research communicators in the U.S. to collaborate on campaigns.
Work on creator briefs and coordinate with creators on deliverables.
