Reporting to the Senior Manager of Content Strategy, the Content Specialist will help translate Squaremouth’s value proposition into powerful, revenue-driving long-form copy across our website. What You’ll Do Own the creation of high-quality, search-intent-driven content across landing pages, long-form guides, blog articles, and email campaigns Develop and optimize content that improves organic rankings, increases qualified traffic, and drives conversions Conduct keyword research and SERP analysis using tools such as ClearScope and SEMrush to identify content opportunities and gaps Analyze performance using Google Analytics and Search Console to refine strategy, improve engagement, and maximize ROI Continuously refresh and optimize existing content to maintain rankings and improve user experience Monitor competitor content strategies to ensure Squaremouth maintains a leadership position in travel insurance Identify timely, newsworthy travel and insurance trends to create content that captures emerging demand What We’re Looking For A portfolio showcasing long-form and transactional copy is required for consideration for this role . 5+ years of copywriting experience working for an agency, in-house at a brand, or freelancing for B2C advertisers, preferably with a focus on direct response style Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field Experience generating content for SEO Proficiency in using tools like Surfer AI, ClearScope, and SEMRush A self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to give, accept, and apply feedback Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, both as a team member and individual contributor Experience writing for industries like insurance, fintech, or education is preferred
