About The Position

GigFinesse is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Marketing Content Intern to support its marketing team and help shape the brand’s visual identity. The intern will create social media content, assist with content production, and edit promotional photos and videos from live events. The role offers hands-on field work, portfolio-building opportunities, and exposure to the music-technology industry. This is an unpaid, credit-only internship in Austin, Texas, for Spring 2027, with a hybrid work arrangement and a flexible schedule that may include days, evenings, and weekends.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Film, Visual Arts, Communications, Radio + Television, or a related field.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Premiere, DaVinci, Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and current social media trends.
• Interest in the entertainment industry.
• Availability for in-person work with a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends, to assist with content production and editing.

Nice To Haves

• A portfolio or examples of previous content.
• Experience serving as on-camera talent, willingness to be on camera, or experience assisting behind the camera.
• Experience with short-form video content.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging visual content for social media platforms, including Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Assist with shooting and editing social media content.
• Edit and retouch photos and videos from live events for promotional use.
• Support the full content creation process, including brainstorming, planning, filming, editing, publishing, and performance tracking.
