About The Position

GigFinesse is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Content Intern to support its marketing team and help shape the visual identity of the brand. The intern will work on social media content and live-event recaps, gaining real-world field experience and building a portfolio while learning about the fast-paced music-tech industry. This is an unpaid internship for academic credit, based in Austin, Texas, during Spring 2027.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Film, Visual Arts, Communications, Radio + Television, or a related field.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Premiere, DaVinci, Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and current social media trends.
• Interest in the entertainment industry.
• Available for in-person work with a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends, to assist with content production and editing.

Nice To Haves

• Portfolio or examples of previous content.
• Experience serving as on-camera talent or willingness to be on camera, or experience assisting behind the camera.
• Experience with short-form video content.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging visual content for social media platforms such as Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Assist in shooting and editing social media content.
• Edit and retouch photos and videos from live events for promotional use.
• Contribute to the full content creation process, including brainstorming, planning, filming, editing, publishing, and performance tracking.
