About The Position

EPIC Insurance is modernizing how we create and scale content across internal and external communications. Strong copywriting skills are essential—you will craft foundational messaging, set quality standards, and create exemplary content. The Marketing Content Engineer designs the workflows, governance, and modular content structures that ensure EPIC communicates with speed, accuracy, and consistency. In a trust-driven industry, strong writing and communication clarity are essential. This role ensures EPIC delivers clear, consistent, and compelling messaging that resonates with internal & external audiences —strengthening our brand and supporting business growth. Requirements

  • 5+ years in editorial and writing roles. content strategy or communications.
  • Demonstrated copywriting expertise, with strong command of tone, clarity, narrative structure, and messaging hierarchy.
  • Hands-on experience with AI content tools, automated content workflows, and structured content systems.
  • Strong understanding of content governance and brand voice.
  • Systems thinking mindset and ability to design scalable content operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in regulated industries (insurance, financial services, healthcare).
  • Background in internal/external communications or editorial leadership.
  • Familiarity with metadata models, taxonomies, CRM platforms, and content automation tools.
  • Ability to lead cross‐functional alignment and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Write and produce compelling content across formats, including internal announcements, marketing and sales collateral, intranet content, web copy, social posts, thought leadership, and scripts. Design and implement templates, prompt libraries, and modular messaging components grounded in strong copywriting principles.
  • Develop scalable content workflows that improve efficiency while ensuring quality, consistency, compliance, and brand integrity.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks that uphold voice, tone, accuracy, and regulatory standards.
  • Write and refine copy standards, messaging guidelines, and narrative frameworks used by teams and AI tools.
  • Conduct content reviews and provide editorial direction to ensure clarity and consistency at scale.
  • Collaborate with Communications, Brand, Marketing, Sales Enablement, and subject matter experts to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling content
  • Provide strategic copywriting support for executive communications, flagship initiatives, and high-visibility narratives
  • Measure and optimize content production, engagement, clarity, and consistency.
  • Use copywriting expertise to continuously improve outputs and train models to better reflect EPIC’s brand voice.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging AI content technologies.
  • Build scaleable, AI-assisted messaging framework and process that preserves a unified core narrative while adapting for channels and audiences.
  • Produce exemplary copy variations that help scale high-quality, on-brand messaging.
