About The Position

This is an 18-month contract opportunity for a Marketing Consultant. The role involves contributing expertise to the management and execution of marketing strategies, programs, campaigns, events, and assets. The Marketing Consultant will report to the marketing operations manager and is expected to manage and multitask while meeting project deadlines. The role requires owning and implementing marketing programs, collaborating with internal and external business partners, and functioning as a leader and self-starter in a fast-paced creative environment. Diligence in campaign management, following project plans, and ensuring timely and quality delivery of marketing materials are key aspects of the position.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in marketing project management.
  • Post-secondary education in marketing, or related field or relevant work experience
  • Highly organized and focused multi-tasker with strong attention to detail, analytical and project management skills, and can work independently within a team focused organization
  • 3-5 years’ experience creating and executing marketing programs as part of collaborative team
  • Proven ability in creating successful workback schedules while meeting numerous deadlines
  • Ability to identify opportunities to link projects, initiatives or promotions together
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: must be able to consult, influence and negotiate with people from diverse backgrounds and levels throughout the organization
  • Ability to embrace change and adapt to constantly evolving business priorities
  • A proven track record of developing and maintaining highly collaborative cross-functional internal and external relationships

Nice To Haves

  • Wrike Platform experience
  • Understanding of social media platforms, including advertising, and how they support other digital marketing efforts
  • Sound understanding of the principles of digital marketing compliance such as CASL and AODA

Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, and execute marketing plans and tactics while working well with internal teams and business partners.
  • Collaborate with internal team of designers, writers, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful launch of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain and continuously improve processes to ensure consistently high quality of marketing deliverables, coordinating internal service providers and external vendors supporting projects as required.
  • Measure effectiveness of marketing activities and adjust plans and tactics based upon collected metrics.
