About The Position

Bayer is seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to coordinate the development of advertising and marketing communications materials. This role involves applying creative design and writing services to effectively represent products, services, and brands to customers and prospects. The specialist will utilize various communication strategies to create a positive impression, raise awareness, and encourage engagement from the target audience. Responsibilities include developing and coordinating multimedia packages such as brochures, videos, and point-of-purchase displays, and leveraging sponsorships, events, and sales promotions. The role aims to maximize the impact of advertising campaigns by optimizing customer touchpoint strategies across diverse media, identifying target audiences, and analyzing their characteristics and media habits to determine the best communication methods. The Marketing Specialist will design media plans aligned with company objectives and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and media investments to ensure successful brand positioning. This mid-level marketing communications professional is responsible for owning and executing integrated marketing initiatives and tactics that deliver a consistent, customer-first experience across touchpoints. This role bridges strategy and execution, translating brand, product, and customer experience priorities into coordinated execution of marketing initiatives that engage customers, support field teams, and drive business outcomes. The position partners closely with Marketing Communications Managers, brand teams, customer experience teams, sales, and agency partners to deliver high-quality, aligned, and measurable marketing efforts.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of a consistent, customer-first experience across marketing touchpoints (digital, in-person, and in-field interactions).
  • Translate customer insights into relevant, timely, and personalized engagement.
  • Ensure marketing strategies reflect the full customer journey—not just individual tactics.
  • Partner with sales and customer-facing teams to improve the effectiveness of on-the-ground customer interactions.
  • Own execution of integrated marketing initiatives, including campaigns and product launch promotion, customer engagement tactics (CRM, digital, events, field activation), sales enablement initiatives, and communications (owned content, social media, email, website, events, collaboration with external vendors).
  • Translate Marketing and CX strategies into clear, actionable plans and deliverables.
  • Manage timelines and workflows to ensure seamless and timely execution.
  • Coordinate across channels (email, CRM, digital, events, field activation) to deliver a connected and cohesive experience.
  • Partner with internal teams and external agencies to execute channel-specific tactics.
  • Support both targeted and broad-reach initiatives to meet customer and business needs.
  • Translate product, portfolio, and brand strategies into clear, customer-relevant messaging and activation plans.
  • Ensure messaging is aligned across touchpoints and supports a seamless customer experience.
  • Support go-to-market execution for launches and key initiatives, ensuring field readiness and customer clarity.
  • Track performance of marketing initiatives and customer engagement efforts across channels.
  • Apply insights to improve customer experience, engagement, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Support post-campaign reviews and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Partner with multiple teams effectively and efficiently, including Marketing Communications Managers (strategy and prioritization), Sales teams (field adoption and feedback loops), Brand and Product teams (priorities and messaging), and Agencies and external partners (execution).
  • Ensure marketing efforts are aligned to deliver a cohesive, end-to-end customer experience.
  • Manage day-to-day coordination of marketing tactics across stakeholders.
