About The Position

The Marketing Communications Specialist will manage the tactical execution of marketing communications projects. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience with marketing and communication concepts, including branding and messaging.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills direct marketing, market segmentation, marketing research, coordination, project management, reporting research results, understanding the customer, process improvement, initiative, planning, financial skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate marketing communications projects.
  • Assist in the development of the social media outreach program and maintain all outlet post on a regular basis.
  • Assist with development of content for internal and external websites, brochures, and various marketing collateral.
  • Create communication plans for internal and external marketing campaigns.
  • Provide creative support for the design and layout of various marketing collateral.
  • Provide writing, editing and formatting of project, engineering, office procedures, manuals and reports.
  • Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendars.
  • Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
  • Help with proposal efforts as needed.
  • Plans meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications.
