Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics and Global Services supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers. Our teams work together in critical areas that leverage digital capabilities, technology and operational excellence. As a Marketing Communications Specialist, you will support the execution of marketing campaigns and communication activities, including creative development, in alignment with business objectives. This role contributes to the development and delivery of marketing tactics, conducts research and performance monitoring, and maintains effective internal communications to support evolving organizational needs. This position operates with working knowledge-level proficiency, partnering closely with marketing leads, product owners, and cross‑functional teams.

Requirements

  • Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
  • Vendor/Supplier Management: Knowledge of external provider management processes and ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers (e.g. vendors, service providers, contractors, consultants and suppliers).
  • Promotion and Marketing Communications: Knowledge of different promotional and marketing communication techniques; ability to use different marketing channels and tools in combination to focus on how a business communicates a message to the market.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting marketing campaigns or GTM execution for digital or technical offerings
  • Familiarity with marketing systems, content management tools, or analytics platforms
  • Ability to manage individual workstreams independently with guidance

Responsibilities

  • Support execution of go‑to‑market and marketing campaign activities for Service Information System (SIS) and SIS2GO, including creative development and content delivery
  • Assist in developing and aligning marketing tactics that support defined business objectives and priorities
  • Conduct market and competitive research to identify opportunities, trends, and insights
  • Monitor campaign and tactic performance metrics and report on effectiveness
  • Develop, write, and update customer‑ and dealer‑facing marketing content (USPs, webpages, emails, brochures, videos) under guidance
  • Maintain accurate and timely marketing materials across platforms and channels
  • Support internal marketing communications to ensure alignment with changing business scenarios
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support coordinated execution.
