Marketing & Communications Intern - Evergreen FS - Bloomington, IL
About The Position
The Marketing & Communications Intern will support Evergreen FS marketing and communications efforts while gaining hands-on experience in a variety of projects across the organization. Working closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager, this position will assist with event planning and execution, social media and digital content, photography and videography, creative development, and day-to-day marketing administration. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, willing to bring new ideas to the table and comfortable jumping into a variety of projects. This internship is designed to provide meaningful, real-world experience while contributing to marketing initiatives that support Evergreen FS employees, customers and communities.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, public relations, advertising, journalism, digital media, graphic design, agricultural communications or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in social media, photography, videography and digital content creation.
- Creative mindset with a willingness to share ideas and try new approaches.
- Strong organization and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Self-starter who is comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively.
- Attention to detail and willingness to help with both creative projects and the behind-the-scenes work required to execute them.
- Experience with Microsoft Office required.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to Evergreen FS locations and events as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or video-editing platforms are a plus.
