This position is responsible for the creation and execution of marketing strategies aimed at Medicare-eligible audiences, including age-ins, dual-eligibles, and special needs populations that support business objectives. This person will provide leadership for campaign coordination, content development, and execution of creative communications that promote the consideration and purchase of Medicare products and services offered through the Government Programs market. Ideal candidates will bring a well-rounded background in marketing communications strategy and execution. Areas of responsibility include: Lead strategy development, campaign planning and execution of marketing strategies to support Medica’s Medicare products. Coordinate campaigns across digital, direct mail, events, and community outreach to maximize visibility and drive enrollment during Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) and other key windows Collaborate and consult with product and sales teams on the development of best-in-class communications that improve the consumer experience and build Medica’s reputation as a trusted health plan. Leads concept development and acquisition communication strategies. Collaborate with internal marketing and experience teams on messaging, tone and voice to drive consumer understanding and engagement Produce marketing content that adheres to CMS guidelines, securing approvals and maintaining compliance throughout all member acquisition efforts. Support internal and external sales channels with marketing collateral, lead generation tools, and localized campaign assets to enhance conversion rates. Monitor KPIs such as cost-per-lead, conversion rates, and member retention; use insights to refine targeting, messaging, and channel mix for future campaigns. Represent Medicare acquisition marketing strategies on cross-functional business teams. Develop expertise in Medica’s product portfolio offerings and apply subject matter expertise across all communications.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of acquisition marketing experience preferred
  • 2 or more years of previous health care experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail, strong project management skills, ability to manage changing priorities and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally with individuals across multiple departments
  • This position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work onsite at our Minnetonka, MN office, on average, 3 days per week.
