About The Position

At Regions, the Marketing Business Line Strategist contributes to integrated marketing efforts designed to meet and exceed customer needs and expectations as well as drive business outcomes including profitability, growing customer base, and deepening relationships. This position serves as a liaison between Marketing and various business lines. This position will be aligned to the Wealth Management business group at Regions, specifically Investment Solutions and Institutional Services, and will require an understanding of Wealth Management’s products, solutions, sales processes, audiences, and regulatory implications. The position will develop data-drive, customer centric marketing communications strategies and tactics that are reflective of Regions’ Wealth Management brand and value propositions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
  • Five (5) years of Banking and/or Marketing experience
  • Ability to build strong relationships with business partners across various functions
  • Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and measurement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Sense of urgency, solid judgement, and prioritization skills
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a related graduate degree
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams
  • Direct and digital marketing experience
  • Marketing communications experience supporting a Wealth Management business / firm
  • Skilled negotiator and have the ability to influence others

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to the development and overall execution of the Marketing plan and committed outcomes
  • Partners with Marketing/SCX centers of excellence and business teams to continuously innovate, identify, and test new and radical marketing programs
  • Partners with product, brand, and content teams to ensure marketing programs deliver personalized communications that meet the needs and preferences of the Banks customers
  • Partners with the content and execution team to develop and manage a creative/content roadmap across channels
  • May offer advice and guidance to junior strategists
