About The Position

The Marketing and Business Development Specialist will develop, manage, execute, and support marketing and business development initiatives and events as they relate to the firm’s Texas, Florida, and Georgia offices. Dallas is preferred, but this position can be based in any Texas office. This role is a critical part of a large, well-established, and supportive MBD organization and is complementary to teams aimed at industry, practice, and key client support. The position is both strategic and executional (a “planner/thinker as well as a doer”). Coordination with firmwide marketing strategy is essential to ensure continuity and impact. This position is expected to interface daily with lawyers and other professionals throughout the firm. Requirements

  • 5+ years’ of professional services experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Nice To Haves

  • Large law firm experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish would be great.
  • A sense of humor and humility would be nice.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, execute, and support marketing and business development initiatives and events for the firm’s Texas, Florida, and Georgia offices.
  • Lead local office Marketing/BD professional responsible for developing, managing, executing, and supporting office-level MBD initiatives for Texas (Austin, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Houston), Florida (Miami, Boca Raton), and Georgia (Atlanta) offices.
  • Coordinate with firmwide marketing strategy to ensure continuity and impact.
  • Interface daily with lawyers and other professionals throughout the firm.
