About The Position

RDH is seeking a strategic Marketing Specialist to strengthen and elevate our presence in the Mid-Atlantic market. This role blends pursuit leadership, campaign development, and industry engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with technical and business leaders to increase visibility in priority sectors, support high-value pursuits, and ensure RDH shows up professionally and consistently across the region. This is not a production-only marketing role. We are looking for someone who can think strategically, represent the firm confidently, and execute independently.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of marketing, communications, or business development experience, preferably within the AEC or professional services industry
  • Experience supporting or leading proposals, pursuits, campaigns, or industry engagement initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to develop clear, compelling written and visual marketing content
  • Experience collaborating with technical professionals and senior leaders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; experience with Adobe InDesign and CRM platforms preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Executive presence and professional communication style
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills; able to distill complex ideas into audience-centered narratives
  • Strategic thinker who aligns marketing initiatives with business goals
  • Ability to translate technical expertise into clear, compelling messaging
  • Collaborative and effective in partnering with senior leaders and technical teams
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple deadlines
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and marketing tools; experience with Adobe InDesign and CRM systems preferred
  • Proactive, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Boston leadership to identify priority sectors, target clients, and growth opportunities across the Mid-Atlantic region
  • Develop and execute market visibility strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Represent RDH at key industry organizations and events, including BSA, ULI, NAIOP, and BOMA
  • Coordinate sponsorships, speaking engagements, and client-facing events
  • Lead and manage RFP/RFQ responses for priority pursuits, including strategy, content development, and submission
  • Translate technical expertise into clear, compelling client-focused messaging
  • Develop sector-specific marketing materials, case studies, and presentations
  • Maintain pursuit tracking, CRM data, and marketing resources
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform positioning
