JCDecaux is currently seeking a Marketing Assistant: Research & Analysis who will report to the Senior Marketing Associate and will be responsible for ideation and creation of new marketing assets as well as updating existing documents using syndicated data, traditional research skills, and advertising knowledge. This is a full-time position based in our New York office and will operate in a hybrid work model.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced and demanding environments.
  • Manage multiple responsibilities and conflicting deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity of marketing principles and advertising KPIs (Impressions, Reach, Frequency, etc.)
  • Strong writing/copy editing skills a must.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good “problem solving” ability within a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to be professional, proactive, and a team player.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop or InDesign is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Write campaign summaries, articles, blog posts, and other copy for JCDecaux North America website, social media accounts, and monthly newsletters.
  • Brainstorm and post weekly social media content and track performance across platforms.
  • Assist in (and on some occasions lead) development of marketing collateral including sales sheets, brochures, campaign videos, presentations, etc.
  • Provide media metrics from Geopath to support street furniture and billboard ad sales.
  • Work alongside our Digital Innovation Group (DIG) to craft compelling sales narratives using audience insights from Placer.ai and Neustar.
  • Oversee and update company databases including photo, video, and case study libraries.
  • Pull client leads from MediaRadar and ZoomInfo.
  • Coordinate miscellaneous marketing requests from both our US office and abroad.
  • Oversee inventory and fulfil requests for marketing “gifts”.
  • Liaise with operations, sales, and other departments to ensure inventory counts and related metrics are accurate.
  • Light graphic design responsibilities will include Canva and Photoshop.
