The Marketing and Public Relations Manager leads the development, coordination, and execution of the Museum’s marketing and public relations initiatives to increase visibility, strengthen community engagement, and support attendance and revenue goals. Responsibilities include developing and implementing communication strategies; overseeing advertising, promotions, social media, website content, publications, and media relations; supporting special events and marketing-related grant writing; and collaborating with an external marketing firm on strategic planning and implementation. The Manager also develops, tracks, and manages marketing budgets and expenditures, reviews performance against approved budgets, and helps ensure the effective use of marketing resources. Additionally, this position cultivates relationships with donors, sponsors, media representatives, and community organizations; monitors marketing trends and campaign results; supports fundraising efforts; and ensures consistent, accurate messaging across all platforms.
