About The Position
Hawaiʻi Island Community Health Center (HICHC) is looking for a creative and talented Marketing & Communications Specialist to help tell our story through engaging content, graphic design, digital marketing, and community outreach. This role offers meaningful work that impacts Hawaiʻi Island communities, a collaborative, mission-driven team, and opportunities to use creativity and innovation every day on diverse and exciting projects across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of marketing, communications, public relations, or graphic design experience
- Strong writing, design, and project management skills
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, WordPress, social media, and email marketing platforms
Responsibilities
- Create content for social media, website, email campaigns, and internal communications.
- Design brochures, flyers, event materials, reports, and digital assets.
- Manage marketing projects from concept to completion.
- Support branding, community engagement, and organizational communications.
- Track campaign performance and recommend improvements.
