Requirements

  • Microsoft Office (Publisher, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Creative with an eye for design
  • Strong organizational skills: time management, attention to detail, ability to self-start
  • Able to multi-task and produce high-quality results with strict deadlines
  • Team player: ability to work in cooperatively with other departments, committees and boards to attain club goals.
  • Proficient on social media platforms

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with a Club system software is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes marketing tactics and strategy that enhances the awareness of the Columbus Country Club brand and communicates the story and ongoing execution of the Sales & Marketing Plan working collaboratively with onsite club management, Board and Committee, and Troon Corporate team.
  • Drives the content development and facilitates production of all membership related materials, including but not limited to prospecting, onboarding and retention efforts.
  • Leads the content, production/packaging, and delivery of a thorough and accurate onboarding of every new member, ensuring that the process follows a structured plan, the materials are professionally presented, the orientation agenda includes key department leads, and the member gains an understanding of every element of the club.
  • Manages Columbus Country Club social media platforms (Facebook & Instagram) and ensures delivery of consistent, high quality and engaging content; reflective of the club brand.
  • Develops a communication plan which outlines all Club communications from emails to newsletters.
  • Designs and executes a monthly Club newsletter, which features content from each department.
  • Engaged with the Columbus Country Club website platform in the following capacities: Updates calendars, events, menus, hours of operation, event albums etc. Coordinates, edits and sends email communications on behalf of Club Departments, Boards and Committees.
