About The Position

Seasats designs and deploys autonomous surface vehicles that operate at sea for weeks or months at a time, serving customers in defense, commercial, and scientific sectors. Over several years, the company has gained a reputation for advanced capabilities, exceptional reliability, and top-tier customer service. As a Marketing and Communications Intern, you’ll create brand-aligned content, facilitate events, support go-to-market and media campaigns, and generally ensure that Seasats maintains and grows its reputation as an industry leader. You’ll tackle a mix of event and operations support, content collection and creation, social media execution, and reporting and admin.

Requirements

Completed 2-4 years of coursework towards a B.S. in marketing, communications, or a related field
Hands-on experience using Adobe Programs such as Lightroom, AfterEffects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator
Familiarity with Canva, PowerPoint, Word, and the Google Suite
Strong written skills and attention to detail
Experience working with and without AI tools

Nice To Haves

Internship, project, club, or other experience marketing products and ideas
Experience with videography
Interest in robotics, autonomous systems, or maritime

Responsibilities

Designing, ordering, and managing Seasats-branded merchandise for employees, partners, and customers
Supporting conferences, trade shows, customer visits, and other events
Coordinating social media activity on LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms
Producing new content and ensuring existing content is available when needed
Writing copy for social media, web, recruiting, and/or marketing materials
Generating reports on website traffic, PR activity, and social media performance
Maintaining content libraries and ensuring assets are easy to find and use
Updating website content
Other marketing operations tasks as needed
