About The Position

Manychat is seeking a sharp, senior analytics leader to own Marketing Analytics. This role will partner closely with the CMO and Marketing leadership globally. It's a player-coach position where you will guide a small team of analysts, but the management aspect will be light, allowing you to remain hands-on. Your primary focus will be on setting priorities, ensuring stakeholder alignment, and contributing to strategy, while also diving into key projects. You will need to balance the need for rigorous data analysis with the ability to make quick, directional decisions based on available data. This role requires an understanding of how marketing analytics fits into the broader business context and collaboration across teams.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in Data Analytics, Data Science, or a similar role with substantial hands-on work.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in the marketing domain.
  • 2+ years of experience guiding and mentoring a team of analysts while remaining a strong practitioner.
  • Direct experience working with senior leaders.
  • Ability to translate strategy into measurement and execution.
  • Ability to partner across functions to maintain a connected, business-wide view.
  • Advanced SQL on large datasets.
  • Strong BI and visualization skills.
  • Solid statistics and experimentation fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with causal inference.
  • Comfortable with tactical underpinnings like data integrations, attribution logic, conversion loops, and LTV modeling.
  • Proactive, structured, and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Ability to operate with autonomy and high standards across both strategic and tactical work.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in SaaS and/or PLG background.
  • Experience with Python or R.

Responsibilities

  • Guide a team of marketing analysts, setting direction, prioritizing demands, and coaching them to perform at their best.
  • Act as the analytics partner to the CMO and marketing teams (Brand, Lifecycle, Performance, Growth) to frame questions, challenge assumptions, and shape strategy with data.
  • Connect marketing analytics to the broader business picture, partnering across analytics teams to ensure channel metrics, growth, and company outcomes tell a coherent story.
  • Anticipate future measurement needs and identify opportunities indicated by data.
  • Translate requests into clear priorities, keep stakeholders updated on progress, and drive technical alignment on definitions, methods, and data sources.
  • Engage directly in high-stakes projects, providing guidance, unblocking the team, and brainstorming solutions.
  • Shape the measurement and experimentation framework, including attribution, incrementality, CAC, payback, and LTV.
  • Balance analytical rigor with pragmatism, making confident recommendations based on sharp hypotheses and available data, even if imperfect.

Benefits

  • Annual professional development reimbursement for conference tickets, online courses, and other relevant resources.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents.
  • Hybrid work.
  • Generous leave options.
  • In-office perks, including free meals and snacks.
  • Company-funded sport activities, annual offsites and team-building events.
  • Access to AI tools like Claude and OpenAI.
