Marketer - Skilled Nursing Home
About The Position
Recruit Secure is collaborating with an established and very stable Healthcare company that owns a very large Skilled Nursing Home in the Nassau County- Queens, NY area that is looking for an experienced and dynamic Marketer to join their team. The Marketer will be responsible for developing and executing marketing plans and identifying resources to meet the census goals of a Skilled Nursing Home (about 250+ beds). Additionally, the Marketer will develop strategic marking plans to build relationships with hospitals, external businesses, outside vendors, and community organizations, etc., to generate admissions at the facility and enhance the company's brand. The successful candidate MUST have healthcare and Skilled Nursing Home experience. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic company and to directly affect their success. Requirements
- Prior Marketing experience for Skilled Nursing Facilities - a must
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid insurance systems
- Knowledge of Healthcare and Hospital systems, especially in the Queens, Brooklyn, Nassau County areas.
Responsibilities
- Interacts with community leaders, social workers, case managers, and discharge planners to maintain and develop referral relationships.
- Work with the Admissions department to meet short-term and long-range census goals.
- Create, manage and monitor new business development plans
- Communicate with SNF Administrators to be abreast of policies affecting Admissions and finances.
